When we created Mattress Works, my vision was to develop and create products that served an important role in helping people live healthier, happier lives. We even created a promise to help people know we have their back when it comes to their buying experience with our small mattress store.
Just short of our 2-year, Mattress Works anniversary, we are excited to release our first kid’s mattress, The Kid Comfy. I have spent the last several years looking for ways to build a mattress that provided the support kids and teens need, while factoring in comfort that would adapt and progress with a young person into adulthood.
Thanks to a combination of old school craftsmanship and modern technology, we were able to build a mattress that would age just as well as the young body using it.
What’s Different About The Kid Comfy?
Proper, Solid Support
When we looked at the kids mattress segment of our industry, lack of proper support was the number one issue we felt impacting both the durability and quality of the sleep experience for children and young adults. We felt the need to create something that could support a body type ranging from 50 lbs up to 200 lbs in the same mattress.
Progressive Comfort
Here’s where things get interesting. We wanted the comfort layers in the mattress to get softer as the person grows, but not at the cost of losing support. The Kid Comfy mattress develops a cushiony, comfy, “ahh” over time. What teen to young adult doesn’t crave that?
